School/Center Overview

The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine is a global leader in veterinary education, research, and clinical care. Founded in 1884, the School is a proud member of the One Health initiative, linking human, animal, and environmental health.


Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Clinical Services lead clinical service team through daily clinical caseload. Responsibility for coordinating all patient care and patient procedures, to include imaging and nursing care. The position includes cross training in all services. The work schedule is a 40 hour work week, to include weekends and holidays. Position located in Kennett Sq., No public trans. avail.


Vet Tech C: Certified veterinary technician; advanced technical training, or college education required. 3 years experience; 1-2 years experience in a large animal hospital required. Horse handling skills required. The candidate must have the physical capability of doing strenuous work. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required to interact with faculty, staff and students both written and orally. Flexibility in hours is necessary as the caseload is variable.

Vet Tech D: Same as above; 5+ years of experience.
