Work at the direction of the Practice Administrator to provide oversight in the clinical area including general and specialty dental service schedules. Maintain crash cart, equipment and provide instrument supply management. Provide accurate reporting of implant, components and biological materials used on monthly basis to Practice Administrator. Facilitate clinic flow of dental assistants to ensure adequate coverage to doctors including performing chairside dental assisting as needed. Do weekly supply ordering and maintain all supply, equipment, instrument and materials inventory. Provide product knowledge and skill-set training to auxiliary as needed. Proactively bring new product and technique knowledge to clinical staff.


A certification in Dental Assisting and X-ray acquisition, current CPR certification, 5 to 7 years clinical experience in Oral Surgery and Periodontics and combination clinical supervisory role. Knowledge of implants systems specifically Straumann and Nobel. Familiarity of dental procedures and terminology. Excellent telephone skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, students, faculty, and diverse staff. Must communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management and able to multi-task different tasks, priorities and projects effectively.
