The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is the oldest and one of the finest medical schools in the United States. This Clinical Research Coordinator B position is necessary to provide senior research coordination and support for a research study on increasing accuracy and cost-effectiveness of fidelity measurement in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Specifically, this position will supervise two full-time employees, provide oversight of developing study materials, recruit participants, manage study documentation and databases, lead IRB documentation and submissions, and facilitate and maintain positive working relationships with collaborators and study participants.


A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related health field and 2 to 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Master’s degree preferred. Previous experience working in community mental health centers, interacting with children and families, and/or experience in implementation science are desired. Previous experience in a research environment is preferred. Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, NVivo, databases (SPSS), and online survey software (REDCap) is also preferred. Outstanding organizational skills are essential. Exquisite attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly given the community partner aspect of this work; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this position. Ideally, the interested applicant would have previous experience in implementation science, but outstanding applicants without this experience should still apply. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
