Penn Global provides strategic direction for Penn’s global endeavors with a focus on efficient investment of university resources for global activities. Penn Global collaborates with Schools and Centers across the University and seeks to catalyze cross-school collaborations to integrate knowledge that addresses key issues. We partner with leaders from Penn and around the world to develop innovative interdisciplinary global strategies, initiatives and programs. Duties

Recent college graduates who have demonstrated strong commitment to global affairs are invited to apply for a Research Fellow position that will provide them with a year-long opportunity to engage on global public policy issues and support the intellectual and programmatic dimensions of Perry World House, Penn’s hub for international policy research and global engagement.

The Fellow will have the opportunity to advance the work of Perry World House by conducting policy-relevant research, helping to prepare various types of intellectual output, and identifying ways to connect Perry World House’s global policy work, anchored by its two inaugural research themes, with appropriate policy circles.

The Fellow will also play a critical role in implementing the Perry World House Student Fellows Program; managing Perry World House’s social media development and outreach, including Twitter; and providing general office support.

Position available starting late summer.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Candidate must have strong written, analytical, and communication skills with excellent proofreading and editing abilities. Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
