Duties

As a CSR, you serve as an internal representation of Wharton Printing. You must convey to the customer a sense of expertise in our products, services, and capabilities, and you serve as an external key educator to our community and customers. The CSR is also responsible for communicating customer requirements to the support team in accordance with department policies and procedures. This is a customer service position dealing with all aspects of digital printing production. It requires specialized skills and printing experience. The incumbent of the position meets with customers to discuss print job specifications; assists production department in determining correct imposition templates assist customers with software problems; follows jobs from start to finish.

Qualifications

A high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Associate’s degree preferred.
* Required: 1 – 2 years of customer service related experience in the print industry required, preferably digital print industry
* Required knowledge of digital print equipment.
* Required knowledge of print workflow systems.
* Required PC and Mac environment: Computer Skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, and Publisher Fiery Command WorkStation.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Availability to work overtime and weekends.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
* Attention to detail
* Sound organizational skills
* Experience managing multiple priorities
* Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively.
* Able to evaluate projects & provide input on productivity & quality improvements.
* Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
* Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
* Knowledge of basic cash management procedures.
* Ability to operate a computerized cash register.
* Background check is required.
