Duties

This individual will be responsible for managing, scheduling, stocking, driving, organizing, and managing the Shelter Medicine Mobile unit. This will include scheduling location, students, and staff for the unit. They will have a large role in managing program daily operations functioning as a clinic manager. They will also be the lead teaching technician for shelter medicine teaching programs including those on and off the mobile unit. They will be expected to have respectful interactions with others and participate in data collection, research, grant reporting, outreach, and other responsibilities as designated by shelter medicine.

Qualifications

Certified Veterinary Technician and 3 – 5 years experience required. Experience teaching veterinary students and technical staff. Must be comfortable performing high volume, high quality surgery. Experience in shelter medicine is required. Outreach experience to the community is also encouraged.
