The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is the oldest and one of the finest medical schools in the United States. Penn is rich in tradition and heritage and at the same time consistently at the forefront of new developments and innovations in medical education and research. Since its founding in 1765 the School has been a strong presence in the community and prides itself on educating the leaders of tomorrow in patient care, biomedical research, and medical education.


With the guidance from the Principal Investigators in the CBICA group, the Laboratory Office Manager will take the role in the coordination of research data sets, and handle day to day operations of the lab. The incumbent will function in a lead capacity while overseeing existing project activities, supporting the implementation of new projects and meeting timelines involved in the data sets collection. Reviewing and editing manuscripts for research faculty, assist in preparation of reports and various administrative issues, such as maintain Endnote database and PIs cv’s, NIH biosketch and other support documents up to date via various university databases. Assist researchers with visa documents and applications, reimbursements, orders for designated research projects.

Position is contingent on continued funding.


A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
