Duties

Responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with ensuring the quality of the mass spectrometry and ELISA work performed in a large scale, high-throughput, A2LA-accredited and RMTC-accredited analytical laboratory.

Duties are to assist the QA Manager with editing, issuing, and enforcing QA System Controlled Documents including review of forensic test results and laboratory measurements for completion and accuracy. Completion of QA system
reports, and assisting with the performance of internal and external audits. Assisting with data collection, maintenance of test samples, preparation of proficiency samples, in-house calibrations and requesting external calibration services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Some research experience with liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry and/or enzyme linked immunosorbant assay preferred.

Strict attention to detail and the ability to collaborate well with others is required.
