Duties

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Operations for Wharton External Affairs, the Administrative Coordinator will provide general office support to the Executive Director as well as project support to the other members of the Operations team. This team supports the fundraising and alumni engagement mission of the office by providing budget and human resources support, gift processing, research, prospect management, event coordination, IT support, and data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and organized person with proven success supporting a diverse group of staff across many different functions. Responsibilities include scheduling, filing, budget management, processing financial reimbursements, training, data processing, and general office coordination. The Administrative Coordinator will also train other coordinators on department policies and procedures and improve the department’s process for training new staff. The candidate should have a desire to learn more about development and alumni operations and be willing to support the fundraising and alumni engagement efforts of the department.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in customer service and direct administrative support is required. Experience in development and or higher education operations is preferred.
