Duties

Responsible for implementing day to day operations for innovative behavioral research study at the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics. The research coordinator implements study protocol activities, conducts recruitment, monitors data collection, follow up, and retention. Serves as point of contact and follow up for patients and troubleshoots issues that prevent patients from participating fully in the intervention, including the use of study devices, patient messaging, friend/family social influence and financial incentives. Communicates with patients and clinicians on addressing and resolving issues, documents ongoing communications with patients and clinicians and adds alerts for clinicians to the patient medical record when appropriate. Compiles data to present to investigator team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent communication, independent thinking, interpersonal and organizational skills. Comfort with learning, utilizing and teaching new web based platforms and technologies and troubleshooting issues with participants. Experience working with data systems, understanding good data management practices and previous experience working directly with patients. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Skills in MS Word and Excel is essential, REDCap experience preferred. Position contingent upon funding.
