Duties

This position will support laboratory research studies focusing on neuroinflammatory conditions such as multiple sclerosis. The Research Lab Tech will handle and process PBMC and other biological samples. We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate for a full-time Research Lab Tech position.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

For this position, we seek a candidate with proven success and expertise in following standardized laboratory protocols and clearly documenting results in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) standards; ability is expected to troubleshoot issues under the advisement of manager; and interact closely with other lab members and team members outside of the lab.

Candidate must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data basing and particularly of biological samples would be considered an advantage.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are also required.
