Duties

The Beck Community Initiative is pleased to announce an opening for a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in the day to day management of a large research study and a program evaluation project, both focused on novel strategies to implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for people receiving services in community mental health care settings. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, well-organized, and have experience in maintaining training initiatives, program evaluation, and research projects. Responsibilities include: recruiting and consenting participants for various studies; working with community therapists and their clients to collect study and program evaluation data; assist with the development of IRB applications, correspondence with IRB staff and maintenance of regulatory study source documents, including annual continuing reviews for the University of Pennsylvania IRB and the City of Philadelphia IRB; maintaining regulatory binders; conducting internal monitoring efforts to ensure compliance with IRB regulations; Develop, update, and maintain multiple study databases and study files, and assist other study sites with database management; managing data and ensuring accurate entry; maintaining incoming audio files for various studies; conduct literature reviews and assist with writing of manuscripts and grant applications; and additional duties as needed. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree and 1 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Applicant needs to be very attentive to detail, have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong data management and writing skills; be willing to work as a team player, be self-starting and be able to monitor time allocated to different tasks. It is preferred that the candidate have the ability to drive with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
